Okay, I have a whole bunch of stored, pinned web-links in several Workspaces in Opera. A good number of those are of various Youtube channels. Today, for some reason, 90% of these got replaced with a link to the Youtube main page, instead of the channel I had pinned, with no way to get back to the page I had pinned (no back-history or forward history on that tab).

I have an older, stored copy of the Opera folder from Roaming, but I cannot figure out where in there all the pinned-tabs stuff is stored, and some of the files in there I gather from other how-do-I-do-this searches that might contain some or all of that info don't seem to be present, for instance I don't see any kind of Last Session folder or such.

I literally just went to refresh my memory as to what Youtube channel I had in tab 1, 2, 3, 4, and so on for the couple of Opera Workspace panes I had set up for that, so I can load them back in from saved desktop-shortcuts again and pin them there again. You'd figure this would be trivially easy to locate.

@nomadofnorad Check the Sessions folder in Opera's profile directory.

@leocg Okay, found some files named Session_[string-of-numbers] in the currently active Sessions and some others in the preserved Sessions from the older Opera Roaming folders. Looked inside with with Notepad++ and a lot of it is NUL NUL NUL stuff, though I can make out some web addresses imbedded occasionally in a sea of NUL NUL NUL. Is there an easier way to examine the contents of these that's more user-readable wrt the addresses in there?
