Why does opera keep deleting the save files in my son's games?

My son plays games on his computer on Opera, but the games sometimes doesn't work properly and when they do, after he closes the browser, the save files always erase. Why is that? ;; ;;

2, what's the version? are the cookies settings properly enabled?

There is a setting in Settings > Privacy > Cookies titled "Keep local data only until I quit my browser" ... is that checked perhaps?
