The next surprise awaited us when analyzing the data traffic:
Even in private browser mode, Microsoft Edge reports accessed URLs to a manufacturer's server.
c't also observed this behavior in Opera, so you never really surf privately here. Opera also attracted attention with its included advertising extensions, for example from Amazon. (...)(https://www.heise.de/news/Browser-im-Privacy-Check-Vorbild-Brave-Mogelpackung-Edge-6109532.html)
=> opera - please comment on this (= that's a disaster!)

@bierkaese Private Windows/Mode in browsers is for local privacy, for the user to hide her/his surfing habits from those who may have access to her/his Opera installation, her/his computer.
The original start page in private window clearly shows what it hides and what it doesn't.

what a stupid, helpless comment! Understood what I had written? hardly think so! The test is clear in its statement. As an "answer" comes just a very bad text module - which shows that nothing was understood.

that you work for opera, I have claimed at no point, read - understand - then answer! Is always better...
Look at the test, it's self-explanatory, actually! Similarly, a test recently at Kuketz-blog - in the statement even clearer. Since it needs something more than such meaningless, clearly evasive text modules! -
