I just turned off all extensions and it still crashes. I have no idea what this could be.

Same problem here, it happens when trying to add bookmark with "heart" button on toolbar.
Right click context menu commands work well, so i use them as workaround.
So it looks like toolbar extension problems.

        Cheers

Yeah i'd like to +1 this issue. Here's the details i've found so far:

          The current version i'm using:

Opera Next 24.0 Version: 24.0.1558.51 - Opera is up to date
          Update stream: Next
          System: Mac OS X 10.9.4 64-bit

          • Whenever i try to add a link to stash/speed dial etc by hitting the heart icon on the toolbar, it crashes Opera.
          • Adding to stash via a context click i.e. ctrl/right clicking works! So it's clearly some toolbar extension related issue ?
          • I tried disabling ALL my installed extensions but it still crashes the app.

As per @aeyoun 's suggestion, I tried it also with Opera Stable. But i still face the same issue:

I notice this also with Opera Stable:

Version: 24.0.1558.53 - Opera is up to date
          Update stream: Stable
          System: Mac OS X 10.9.4 64-bit

The odd thing is I actually don't get any crash report or notification. It simply reboots the app, which is why it's a little perplexing.

One wonders if the Opera people read this stuff and do anything about it or not. One also wonders if I can get the phone number of the hot chick who is on the screen when I sign into this forum, but that's a different story altogether.

Yeah, we read this stuff. I just asked one of the Mac testers to look at this issue.

Actually, you should try new beta/dev builds (available on our blog). See if it reproduces in them also.

Do you have Accessibility Inspector running at the same time by any chance?
