Opera ceases when I try to add an attachment to any email

I noticed latest lately that when I try to add an attachemnt to any email I'm sending, either from gmail or Outlook, Opera ceases up on me. I had this issue before but ut sorted itself when I downloaded an update. However, there is no new update right now..just checked. How do I fix this problem?

@laura575368 Try disabling the easy files feature in settings page. Check the user interface section for the option to show a pop-up with clipboard and recent downloads...

Was having a similiar issue, and this fixed it. Seems the easy file feature has a conflict with windows explorer. Anytime I tried to upload a file to any website, facebook, email, dropbox, youtube, etc. When I got to the step where windows explorer would normally open and allow me to select a file Opera and Opera GX both would freeze, unable to switch tabs or close the Opera windows/tabs. Also would occur when trying to save/download any files that required the windows explorer to open to select a file location.
Turning off easy files fixed this issue for me.
