Hi.
Opera crashed and 100 tabs are gone.
I was logged into Opera Sync since months so i thought all would be fine to restore the last tab session.
But No !After automatic Restart of Opera there are only 2. tabs opened and not the last tabs were restored.
Opera Snychronisation says there are only that 2 tabs saved. o_O
https://www.sync.opera.com/
https://www.sync.opera.com/tabs
All bookmarks Are synched but not the previous tabs.Does Opera only synchronize tabs on calling:
https://www.sync.opera.com/
and the old "sessions" get then deleted??
Are there dated tab sessions in Opera Sync? How can i get back my tabs before the crash??
thx -

@cratte Nothing works on Opera right now there is youtube ads and no way to get help it just keeps robotic ally saying the same errors.
Opera is deceased. -

watch history section?
Nope.
Tabs are not the same as history.
Tabs could be very old and so not be very easy to find in the browser history - until impossible. -

@cratte They probably got damaged by the crash, but you can try playing with the files in the Session folder in Opera's profile directory.
"Play"? How can i re/open them?
Which folder is it?
1:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\Session Storage\xxx.ldb
2:
C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Stable\SessionsFirst I made a copy of the files in 2, because there are less files in it, and one file is much bigger than a similar one with actual date.
I opened the biggest from the crash time and can see URLs that fit to my tabs in that order.
But how to restore?
thx -

@cratte Of course, it's the second option.
Try deleting/renaming the newest ones and rename the olders with the new one's name.
OK, thanks! All works fine, all tabs have been restored!
Opera copies a new instance of the Session file in that folder by restart, this is also what makes restart slowlier.
I thank you very much!
This Opera session crashs found all over the forums should be an urgent warning for the Opera developers to solve this.
ps : Yes, i got some session saver addons but did not use them regularly.
