Change Position of Workspace Bar

Since I only use the sidebar for changing workspaces I would like to get rid of it on my screen altogether. I already have a custom keyboard shortcut of alt+1, alt+2., alt+3 to change workspaces but I would rather have the icons to make it clearer which one I am on.

So is there a way for me to move the usual spot of where you change workspaces (the thing on sidebar with the different icons) to the top right near where the extensions icon/downloads icon is?
