@leocg so my issue was different. Mine was that I could see the Opera button in the start bar, and the thumbnail when I pointed at it, but I clicked on it and it would not pull up. I was able to see every window but Opera. So I re-enlarged the window with the keyboard, as I thought you were suggesting, and it came back on.

I have been using this browser for a long time and this is the first time I have encountered such a problem.
the application opens and I can write, but nothing is visible on the screen.
The problem persists even though I turn the computer off and on and delete and install the browser.
suggested deleting data in previous forums but I can't do it.
sorry for my english I would be very happy if you help^^

from doing all these it's much easier to just delete everything(also there is a box in opera uninstaller to delete everything) and install the opera again

Opera will not maximise from Windows 10 taskbar.
Very frustrating ... I've been trying to fix this for a month!
Yes ... I re-installed Opera several times.
Yes ... I've turned off anti-virus but no change.
Each time I close Opera, it says "OK to close 57 tabs?"
That means Windows 10 recognises that Opera is running.
As a result, for a month now I've been completely "blocked" from using Opera.
What solution??
Thanks! -

Hi all,
When using my Win7 PC this evening I found I could no longer get the taskbar to pop up to switch between programs when hovering the cursor down at the bottom of the screen. The taskbar is set to autohide and I haven't changed that setting. I Can get to the taskbar to appear briefly by hitting the WIN key but that's the only way I can force its appearance. Any ideas? All replies greatly appreciated. -

Me too! It's flipping annoying. It's like it's still looking for my other screen. Although I have rebooted my machine.

In my case it was an issue with a second screen again. I used to run Opera on my "left" screen but after changing it to my "right" screen in the windows options menu for display settings it wouldn´t show up. I changed it back to "left" screen, dragged Opera (which was working again) to my middle screen and undid my changes so that the second screen is back on the "right". Thats how I solved it. So if you are using a second screen, make sure, Opera isnt closed on the wrong one before changing screen orientation or the side of it. Leave Opera always on your main screen so itll show up, even when a second monitor is missing.
