Opera Service TROJAN --please help me!!

Hi everyone,
I bought a ‘Doogee Dg500c’ from a business on eBay a few months back and put my giffgaff sim into it. All has been fine apart from a program embedded into the root of the phone. Every anti-virus app I’ve tried warns me I have a Trojan called ‘opera service’ and I cannot remove it without rooting the device or installing an official ROM.
I have run ‘root checker’ and it says i do not have root access. I am happy to root the device but I am struggling to find instructions for this make/model. I am also concerned about downloading tools and firmware from unofficial websites.
I contacted the seller and he said he could not help and I need to contact Doogee. I emailed Doogee over a month ago and they have not responded.Could someone please help me with this matter – removal off ‘opera service’ or root instructions, rom & tools
Thanks loads for your time,
Damian T -

Some Chinese vendors integrate malware intentionally, not by accident. Of course, they do not assist you in removing it. However, this is not related to opera, even if it is called opera service.
I think the right place for this question is an android or a malware forum, but definitely not the support forum of opera for android... -

By the way: 3 minutes with google gave me a promising result for rooting the phone (untested and without any warrenty of course http://4pda.ru/forum/lofiversion/index.php?t565896.html)
