Creating shortcuts

Can you create shortcuts for a website, and make it show up on your desktop? If you can, how?

@daniel1452 Click on the padlock/world badge in address bar and drag it into the desktop.

@leocg That just drags the tab into another location, at least for me.

I know you can do it on Linux

I'm not able to use Opera due to a bug but are any of these options there?
