Opera randomly keeps disabling one of my spellchecker languages, unpinning pinned extensions

How is it possible, that Opera keeps changes my settings - without prompt to ask me, at that?!
The browser had not even been shut down and restarted, and neither the computer.
I have US English and German spell checkers installed and active. But Opera turns them off at random. And the setting is buried deep enough to be an annoying interruption to my work, when I have to keep turning them back on.
Pinned Extensions are quicker. The one Opera kicks off most is Tab Resize - which I use all the time.
Could you teach your browser to stop mucking with the settings I have laboriously chosen to speed up my work?
Software used to be so much less annoying with settings being reliable and never really changing on their own.
Only with the windows 10 era, software fails to respect user choices and mucks about where it has no business changing your stuff.I know why Russia switched back to typewriters! The keys don't move about while you're going for coffee!
