disable all animations

Dear forum,

I’d really like to disable all movements on websites. Take for instance pinterest. Since some time now, they have animated images (I can’t tell of what sort technically), which renders the page unusable for me (I can’t look at pictures when something bounces next to it, its like someone screaming at me all the time, horrible). I really have to get rid of all that. Is there a way to do that?

@leocg Hello, thanks for your reply. What terms would you use to search? I tried disable stop stand animation animations (separately and in combinations), no luck.

@leocg I did. Searched for “disable animations”, “stop animations”, and so on. Maybe my choice of terms is wrong. Safari once had an extension called “Safari Stand”, I discovered it by chance, never would have come up with the term “stand” otherwise. Hence my asking.
