Need help with "other favorites" and with a couple of other things

Hi,
I have a question and hope somebody can help me. I'm gonna admit right off the bat that my desktop computer is on its last legs. I wish it weren't because a computer just isn't something I can get replaced right now. I've been trying shots in the dark to try and prolong the use of the computer for just a bit longer. Although I was doing something that was somewhat smart by going through the computer and backing stuff up off of it, writing down programs I had downloaded, etc.Here's where my problem comes in. So I did something yesterday and it didn't turn out well so I had to use the system restore from a few days ago. Something happened to my Opera browser. I couldn't use it. Couldn't pull it up at all. It was as if the browser had been deleted and the only thing left were icons that aren't going anywhere. I downloaded it again. I see that my "other favorites" and the favorites I had in the trash are now gone. I also think my passwords were gone but I managed to get them back by somebody else's tip I'd read on this site for another thread.
There's a part of me saying the "other favorites" and the stuff in the trash are gone and can't get them back. And I guess that would be a small loss to take compared to if I lost personal files or even passwords that I also haven't backed up yet. I'll be doing stuff on my Kindle and barely any of those passwords are on there. But I'd still like to see if I can get the "other favorites" and make sure the favorites I'd put in the trash can stay in the trash. Unfortunately I don't think I ever used the synchronize function. Unless it was doing it on its own when it was updating to a new version for all the times they updated the browser, that'd be the only way I could see that feature being used.
I guess I still have a small piece of hope because the history was still there when the browser was installed again. Same goes for the very few favorites I had listed on the bookmarks bar. I could kick my butt that I didn't make sure everything was backed up before I played around. It was 100% my mess up. I just hope somebody can help me.

Oh, and I have one more question and it concerns the Passwords on the Opera browser. Is there any way I can pull the Passwords up on notepad and print them out? Can somebody also help me with that if there's more to do than just opening the file up in Notepad?

Yes, you can. Just go to the passwords manager in settings page and export the passwords.
