i wanted to put a video as an animated wallpaper for my OperaGX, but i just got the option to upload a new addon, somebody help

Upload means to send to a server somewhere, what you describe is merely setting your wallpaper. I've only seen GIFs and webm files as animated backgrounds, I'm not sure what other formats may be supported.

@dvmofm It's because you are just uploading a video, you need to upload a theme.
