FB Hyperlink from email not working in Opera

I tried to open an email hyperlink to a Facebook page and Opera comes back with the message "Sorry this content is unavailable right now" on the fb website.
There is nothing wrong with the link itself. It opens perfectly when I do it in Chrome, nothing wrong with the FB page itself.
I read other posts about similar problems and it turned out to be an extension or something, but this isn't the case for me. I only just downloaded Opera few minutes ago, no extensions have been added.
I had wanted to make Opera my go to for business interactions (one browser for personal one for business to avoid confusion) but so far not looking like that's going to work out.

@keiko46 How are you opening the link? Are you just clicking on it? Or are you copying it and pasting into Opera?
