sidebar messenger no longer usable

Messenger changed their CSS so now, no matter how wide you drag the sidebar, you cannot view the actual messages, as the right-side panel takes up the majority of the screen. I've been forced to download the windows client for messenger. Has anyone came up with a workaround?

@poopymerl I had the same issue. You just have to click this blue circle with "i" to hide this additional bar. I don't know why they made it so big right now tho, it used to be smaller and visually more pleasant. This whole app looked way better before. Today I opened it and it looks choppy and weird. Everything looks old - like an alpha version. I don't know if that's how it suppose to look but if so, then it's awful and previous version was way better. Anyway, I hope I helped you with your issue.

Messenger is still causing display issues. This has been going on for several Opera versions. Are devs aware of this at all?
