Goodmorning everyone. Opera loses all saved passwords when I turn off the PC. It started 1 month ago after a long update of W10. I have two PCs with Opera the second is fine does not lose passwords. Does anyone know the problem?

You might be running into this Microsoft bug: https://www.reddit.com/r/operabrowser/comments/j1wrhx/opera_keeps_logging_me_out_of_every_site/.

@gilardoni Only when you turn off the computer? If you just close Opera and open it again, you still see the saved passwords?

Confirm the glitch on osX. MacOS 11.2.1. I have to remember all my passwords due to Opera malfunction on the matter. Again and again it ask me to save the same password. Some sites get saved passwords correctly, but other cannot. I didn't manage to find system in it. As a result I step by step move to Firefox.

@igelinmist understand you very well. I have the same problem and OPERA does not make itself heard

You can use autosave password extension to save all the password which you can access anywhere.

@roneidaselva May be so, but on my old macbook Opera works fine without special extension. To be honest the most annoying thing is endless request to save password.
Today i reinstalled Opera and cleaned out all saved passwords. New life, maybe it will help. -

To make sure that this doesn't happen too much, you might want to sign into your Opera account or create one.
It's free and easy, just go to your browser settings > Synchronisation > Opera account.
You should also select the option which allows the browser to sync passwords.
If this doesn't work, consider exporting the passwords from another browser which you use. I did this with Google Chrome, and the transition was very smooth.
Hope this helps!

I recently having this problem too. When I closed my opera and re-opened again, I have to input my passwords all over again. I haven't experienced this on last month. Please fix this, cause it's annoyed me so much
