I lost a major Folder of Bookmarks somehow?
Is it possible to recover it from my Mac's Backup?

@jeannot77 I think it should be possible.

@jeannot77 Option 1: Replace the current Bookmarks file with the one in the backup. You will lost all bookmarks added after the backup was made.

Option 2: Do a standalone installation of Opera and paste the backuped bookmarks file on its profile directory. Check if the bookmarks are okay and export them. Open your regular Opera installation and import those bookmarks.
You may get a lot of duplicated bookmarks.

@leocg Do you know where on the backup disk do I find the Opera bookmarks?
You cannot run an application off the backup disk. And if you drag it onto the Mac it loads the bookmarks from the Mac and not the backup disk!

@jeannot77 In Bookmarks files like I said.
If you mean where to find the file, it will depend on how the backup is made.
Type opera://about in Opera's address bar to see the path for the current profile directory, it can give you a clue.
