  • For me, "My Flow" in Opera is one of the better functionalities.
Currently, if we want to send someone, e.g. a link to a website, we have to copy the address and send it by e-mail/FB/communicator, etc.
What if you duplicate "My Flow" and call its copies "Friend's Flow"? If we know that a friend uses Opera, the browsers of both people could be linked with each other.
There is now a button for your personal "flow" in the address bar. After the introduction of this novelty, a second button of the same type would appear, but with the icon of a man/mens.
In my opinion it is a clear message that it is about "Flow" of friends.
Clicking on it would display a list of added peoples.
In addition, at the very bottom there could be an option to send a link to all our friends.
Additionally, there would be the same icon in the sidebar to be able to see what we got.
And just like in "My Flow" we can send links/texts/files to our devices, we could send the same to our friends.

  • @jojo0587 Opera had something similar in the past but the service was discontinued due to lack of use.

There are some Chromium flags related to file sharing, no idea what they will do.

  • @leocg Had a similar function? I only associate sharing the addresses of the pages that we had in bookmarks. Yet in My Flow We can send links to any website, including texts and files. And it would be the same in "Flow for Friends".
My Flow is popular in Opera? I guess yes.

  • @jojo0587 Opera had a bookmarks sharing service and, before that, a file sharing service called Opera Unite.

  • @leocg But now don't have this function.

  • @jojo0587 Yep, due to lack of users as far as i can remember.

  • @leocg OK. In the past, perhaps there were no users who were willing to use such a function. Now maybe it will be? The more that it will be better than the previous one.
