Passwords kept invisible

Using Opera Mobile 60.1.3004 on Android 6.0.1.
Samsung Xcover 3.Password manager are synchronising flawlessly, but opera passwords are kept invisible on my phone.
I remember being able to see individual passwords by clicking each of them, but this menu doesn't appear.
Any hints of how to get access to synchronised passwords?

@lisette11 Go to Opera settings > Passwords > Saved passwords, tap the icon that looks like an eye next to the password you want to view. Authenticate with your lock screen PIN, pattern or fingerprint, etc when prompted to view your password.

If you go to the Autofill section in Opera settings and click on "Show Password" you can see your saved passwords.

@naheed Thanks for answering. This is how it used to function.
Unfortunately it does not show anything..
It's possible to copy the homepage in question, but each password is kept hidden. -

Password are not shown as it used to be.. -

Do you have a screen lock (PIN, pattern, etc.) set up? That might be a requirement for seeing passwords.
Also, are you on a current version of Opera for Android? My Opera app updated to version 60.2 today and viewing passwords is available. It was also available in the previous version I had although I don't know what version number it had.

@lisette11 I set up a pin for screen unlock and made opera my default browser and now I can view my passwords

@crazyj81 I just tested with no default browser and passwords are still visible in Opera. It looks like only a PIN , password, pattern or biometric screen lock is required to be able to view passwords.

@lisette11 a pattern screen lock is no more effort than a swipe and hardly anymore than no lock at all.
Unless you live in a very well secured home and never go out, having no security on your phone seems pretty risky, especially if you are storing logins to your financial institutions on it or use SMS 2FA.
