Opera not updating

Okay so recently I had to reinstall opera since it wouldn't download July's update. Well today I found out a new update came out yesterday and when I checked about opera, it just said new update available, and didn't download it. So I was forced once again to delete and reinstall it.

So yeah what's going on? Am I going to have to do this everytime? Or do I have to delete my user data?

Okay so I checked for updates again today and clicked check for updates and it said failed to download new update. What gives?

Anything special about your machine?
proxy? antivirus?

I use Norton but this has never happened before though.
