Opera is very slow on my Anroid

I have been using Opera for a few years on my Galaxy s4+ with android 4.2.2 and it´s been great. But for a few days now it´s been very slow and some pages does not load at all. I have searched the phone for viruses and other stuff but nothing. I even tried to activate Chrome again just to test, and is was fast! But I will not use chrome (in fact, I hate it). Can someone please help me? I have tried reinstall Opera, turned of ad-block and I don´t use the vpn but nothing helps.

@rexxo A more recent phone with a more recent version of Android would be best solution. For now maybe you could reset your phone or, maybe, uninstall and then reinstall Opera.
