How links to Google maps open in Google Maps app?

Links to Google maps like https://goo.gl/maps/xxxx open in the browser itself. Could you please help to set them so that these links open in Google Maps app?

@killertoxa There is a setting in Opera to open links in external apps.

Doesn't work

It works normally in Chrome and Opera Touch, though
