Sus... When I tried to use it, it tried downloading a .apk file. not sure what that was going to do but I won't be using this.

This extension still works for me. I go to Youtube, I look up a song, I click the extension button, it opens a new page and gets the mp3 DL link ready. When ready, I click the DL link. It opens a new ad window. I close that new ad window, and the mp3 DLs like it's supposed to.
Sometimes it won't DL the mp3, or will say the link is bad. In those cases, close the DL page and try the extension button again. If it keeps saying the link is bad, there's nothing you can do except try a different one, or accept that you won't be able to DL the mp3.

@marekjk: Sorry to hear that. unfortunately we don't have control over the websites to which you're redirected for downloads, nor do we derive any benefits from ads. However, we're committed to enhancing your experience by sourcing better download sites soon, we will replace it with better download sites, or maybe even offer multiple sites. Please remember, we operate ad-free and we don't generate any profit from this extension

@linda-green: The download is working .. and if you have any issue just let us know and we can fix it...
However, I must express concern about the approach you've taken to promote that extension whether its yours or not. Using misleading tactics to divert users from a genuine community-driven extension is not only unfair but also undermines the trust and integrity of the platform.
and if you genuinely just want to share that extension.. why here, I'd like to caution users about that extension, as it requires installing additional software on their machines, which raises legitimate security and privacy concerns. Let's foster an environment of transparency and collaboration within the community rather than resorting to such suspect methods.
Our extension serves users without any ads or intrusive practices. We connect users to reliable download sites (those sites sometimes change and add ads but those are not our websites), we try updating them regularly to avoid bloatware. We don't profit from thisโno penny earned. Importantly, we never ask users to install software that compromises their privacy or turns their PCs into proxies. the users trust means everything to us.
Thank you for understanding.
