I'm having a similar problem. Last night, out of the blue, my Opera browser started crashing. Every time I tried to open it, it would instantly crash. I've uninstalled and reinstalled three times, but it still happens every time I tried to open it. I've never had this problem before, with any version of Opera. I'm actually starting to wonder if it has something to do with the big hacking news that has affected Google services, considering Opera is essentially a clone of Chrome (not hating, just saying).

RE: Advanced Youtube to MP3 converterOpera add-ons
This extension still works for me. I go to Youtube, I look up a song, I click the extension button, it opens a new page and gets the mp3 DL link ready. When ready, I click the DL link. It opens a new ad window. I close that new ad window, and the mp3 DLs like it's supposed to.
Sometimes it won't DL the mp3, or will say the link is bad. In those cases, close the DL page and try the extension button again. If it keeps saying the link is bad, there's nothing you can do except try a different one, or accept that you won't be able to DL the mp3.

RE: Advanced Youtube to MP3 converterOpera add-ons
It works, but sometimes it takes time to convert. Sometimes as little as a few seconds, sometimes longer, sometimes it appears to stall and you have to click convert again. Clicking to download after conversion opens a new browser tab but it's harmless, you can just close it and it won't interrupt the download.

@rvbus0fl said in Opera crashing:
@lt-ii I posted a fix a couple of hours ago and joanneleon used it to fix a variation of the problem. Good Luck.
I appreciate the effort, but now the installer won't even run. No idea why this started happening. I was actually running Opera as usual last night when it just suddenly started crashing. Can't even install it to be able to reach the app date folder now. Crazy.
