Imported Website loads in Cyrillic

I am currently evaluating Opera and like many of its features. I imported my bookmarks from Firefox, including my three e-mail clients. Two of them work flawlessly but my Google account login page appears in Cyrillic script. How do I fix this? Any suggestions would be welcomed.

Yes, I had enabled VPN. It is one of the features of Opera that particularly attracted me. I now notice that one of my other mail accounts speaks to me in Swedish. I hope that there is a workaround. Otherwise I will have to regretfully revert to Firefox.

@oettli The solution is to turn off VPN. Or try to manually change those sites language.
