General Questions About Opera Topic

@leocg yes but I am not using Touch on an iPhone; they don't offer it, do they?

I'm a Vivaldi user, but I do have some questions about the Opera browser. I switched over from Chrome (and before that, Firefox) so I never really used Opera.
When Opera Neon came out, I gave it a try and I liked it for the most part, but my one qualm was that I didn't like having a smaller page display screen in order to fit stuff on the sides of the screen.
From what I've heard, the features of Neon were implemented into the newer versions of Opera. Is this correct? Also, what changed between this version and the older ones?
I also have some concerns about privacy and protecting personal information as I recall reading somewhere that Opera was sold to a Chinese company. Is that still the case?

@vinitbelam Yes, the browser making part of Opera was acquired by a Chinese group some years ago and wasn't sold again so far.

@vinitbelam In https://blogs.opera.com/desktop/ you can see the release posts for new builds of Opera, with their changelogs.

@vinitbelam Some features of Opera Neon may have been implemented in regular Opera, but not all of them.

Why isn't startpage.com a predefined engine yet then?
Isn't it about time that startpage.com is one of the selectable pre-defined apps -

I noticed that many users are not satisfied with the effect of ad blocking
I want to know if opera has any improvement plan in this area?
For example, like Vivaldi, you can add your own rule source?
