private browsing stores information

I only recently switched to Opera from Chrome, and while certain things are nice, I'm rather dismayed by some of its functionality. Private browsing outright does not work as far as I can tell. After I close a private window, Opera will pull up websites I used when I start typing in the first few letters, and it will remember emails and usernames. I expect none of the data used during a private session to stay on the computer after the window is closed, yet there it is.

Are those beta version or something? I can only find 19, marked as opera next.

Opera 19 is a beta version as all Next ones. Opera 20 is kinda an alpha version as all other Developers versions.
You can find both at http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/

Well I just played with 19 and it doesn't have this problem, but it has some other problems I'm not keen on (being beta and all). I suppose I'll wait it out.
