Opera 22 - Search engines no longer available

Hi there,

I,m using Opera 22 and I don´t know when and I don´t know how it happened but in "Settings" -> "Search" there is not one search engine left. The drop down menu and the management console are completely empty. So I figured out where the "search.ini" is situated and yes it was empty - path=AppData\Roaming\Opera (if this is the wrong path please let me know) - so I copied an backup file into the folder while Opera was closed and restarted Opera. Nothing changed. So I started adding search engines with right klick into some search engine forms using "Create search engine...". The dialogue for editing name and keyword shows up I press create and it closes but the search engine is not saved. Anybody having another idea how to fix this?

Opera 22 doesn't use search.ini.

Try renaming web data*.* files and see if you can save custom search engines.

AppData\Roaming\Opera (if this is the wrong path please let me know)
It's the wrong one. You should be looking in "AppData\Roaming\Opera Stable" for Opera 15 and up.
