and you need to realise that to the majority of Opera users it is a notification and Opera should not claim to block notifications just because of some tecchy detail

@yamaoka1947 This is not a browser issue. Opera, Chrome, Firefox, not important. This is not a notification, but a script with a disguise as a notification.

Who said it was a browser issue (since opera and edge are based on Chrome - a non argument) - I wasted hours trawling a slew of websites with 'experts' regurgitating the same non-solution to annoying time wasting notifications - all fail equally. We want solutions not excuses. (I did find one eventually thru persistence)

@yamaoka1947 When in a site that shows such dialog, click on the padlock/globe badge, the on Site Settings. Look for javascript and set it to blocked.
