Greying/dimming of webpage when typing in address bar

Hi,

The recent update has added a new feature which dims or greys the web page when typing in the address bar. This is really jarring, having essentially an entire display flick between dark and light every time I type an address is quite uncomfortable on the eyes.

Any help on how to disable the dimming or greying would be much appreciated, i.e. return the address bar behaviour as before the update.

I have already tried flagging #enhanced-address-bar to disabled, but that apparently hasn't done anything.

@sb1 As far as i know, you can't disable it.

I think I got the same issue, not 100% sure. Very very strange, because I just noticed it, need to double check with another machine first. The address is grey, left is the sign for history, nothing happens if I enter ... suddenly, it inserts Duck.com results (that is want I want) or it grabs from my real history (also what I want) but now the first step is just 'nothing happening' ... wild.
