Speed Dial suggestions back again

Although I've turned the Speedbar Suggestions off, they still keep appearing along with a load of news items I don't want
Any suggestions from anyone on what else can be done to turn this "feature" off

@dugglebb You can disable news on start page in settings.

@dugglebb What kind of suggestions? Maybe you need to disable the *Continue on * feature in settings.
