Automatically Resuming Downloading Process

I wish Opera Browser has a feature to automatically resuming downloading file
when the internet suddenly got disconnected, instead of restarting the download process
from beginning.

I wonder if there's any other browser that has that? or it's even possible to have such feature technically?

@SilentHugOfDoom Allowing downloads resume would depend mainly on the sites. And probably would work only for direct downloads.

I used Firefox back then and once i wanted to turn of my pc with a download on all i had to do is Pause the down load and turn off the browser and once i reopen the browser the download will be there to be resumed and not re do it all over again lets say i paused at 1 GB i come back to 1 GB and not having to cancel the whole download, i strongly recommend this for people with slow internet its a really good feature right now i am testing opera GX everything is good except its lacking that feature in downloading,

@leocg that is not correct in fire fox any download i had was pause able and i can just turn of the browser

yeah Opera had that feature before but now after some updates it's gone. Sad to see that. But I am using IDM module and the extension. It's really cool and contains all that features. Try that if you want
