Suddenly warned that a site I've used for years is malicious.

I regularly go on a website called GPXPlus, I have since a month or so after it was created. I was on it yesterday with no issue. When attempting to go on to the site now I'm told that it has been reported as malicious to Opera by some company called "Yandex". I can say with 100% certainty that the site gpxplus.net is in no way involved in malicious activities. I have been a member of that site, and its associated forums, since 2009 and have never had an issue. Any idea why this may suddenly be occurring?

Was. Sometimes even a good site (or an ad server they use) gets hacked, and so a page that was fine yesterday can be bad today - and if they clean it up, good next week.
Yandex is a major Russian search engine. As with other search engines, if they find malware while indexing a site, they report it. The site's owners should be able to contact Yandex and find out what they saw, then clean it up and ask Yandex to scan them again.
