[Solved]Amazon website breaks.

I get a mix of HTML and plain text. Help, please. This behaviour started after the latest browser "update". Both amazon.com and amazon.smile are wacky. They work fine on my Pale Moon browser and (yecccch) Microsnot Edge. I'd really like to get this fixed. I've asked at Amazon but I'm sure they will say "browser problem".

@philbertdesanex Already tried disabling extensions and adblocker?

@leocg I've done the obvious as well - like clearing caches and cookies. It's not totally vital as I have other paths to access Amazon - but I like Opera and I like things to work as they are supposed to.

@philbertdesanex Test with a standalone installation just to rule out some things. Download the Opera installer, launch it, click "options", set "install path" to a folder named "Opera Test" on your desktop, set "install for" to "standalone installation", uncheck "import data from default browser" and install. Test in that Opera, but do not enable Opera Sync, do not install any extensions and do not turn on VPN.
Do things work fine there at least?

@burnout426 OK. Did all of that. No joy. All of my browsers are "independent". I never share/import settings nor sync with anything. And the next time I use VPN will be like the next time use facebook - a virgin trip. I even went so far as to download and fire-up an iteration of Google Chrome - since Chrome is alleged to be the basis for Opera. Everything on Chrome is nominal. And everything I have visited w/Chrome looks fine. Just amazon.com on Opera is causing me grief. I may just have to wait for the next upgrade to Opera and see what's what.

@philbertdesanex Ok. Definitely odd though as amazon loads fine for me.

Maybe a bit got flipped during install. I just thought it weird that amazon.com would break like that and everything else run fine. I fired up my occasional use laptop which has an older build of Opera on it and amazon.com looks/works as expected. <SHRUG> Thanks for the suggestions.

Success. I blew it all away with Iobit Uninstaller and downloaded a pristine version. Fortunately I planned ahead a bit and saved all my bookmarks. Thanks for trying y'all.
