What is the reason for eliminating the good video player and switching to bad ??

Is there any extension to change the video player "Picture in Picture" ?

Opera's PIP was buggy (freezing) for a lot of users. Chromium started providing a PIP itself, so Opera gets it for free without any work. But, Chromium's is still a work in progress. And, it lacks features that Opera is trying to patch in. Rough transition, but it should all be worth it after a while.

@burnout426 I had no problems with the old player ..
Do you think the old player will be back?

@romank2 It won't. However its features may come back.
