Or not tap so hard, or get yourself a laptop mouse? (Actually, I use a Logitech trackball m580 - I couldn't stand that there was no way to do a "middle click" with the trackpad.)

You could claim compensation from the laptop manufacturer for injuries sustained whilst using one of their products.

That is not the case, it is not phone maker's fault, it is mine.

The most prominent device problems, though, are those issues with one's back, neck, often bottom*;)* That's not mentioning the overall decay of the human body - however in favour of overexercising our finger muscles*;)*

Or maybe ones wrist muscles. Ahem!. 😃

Only if you mostly type and also use only keyboard shortcuts instead of mouse gestures*:sherlock:*
Even then your wrists' movements are rather limited*:P*

Oh, man!!! I must be furiously old-fashioned. The only device injuries I seem to get come from not being as careful as I should be around power tools.

The last incident at least wasn't too bad-- I was using a Roto-Zip bit in my Dremel Motor-tool (advertized speed around 30,000 rpm) and got the tip a little too close to my finger. Fortunately it only just barely touched and I only got a slight nick out of it (really slight, if I didn't know it had touched no one would know) but--- that's my recent "device injury" story.
