Why Opera imports everything from Chrome without my consent?

Previously installed Opera did not have my consent for anything, so why today I see it auto-running and having all my bookmarks and etc from Chrome?!! WTF people?!!

If you didn't tell it not to, Opera will import everything from your default browser and then make itself default. The former actually makes sense to me - you really want to enter everything by hand just to give a browser a proper test? The latter I consider somewhat more problematic ...

When you originally run the installer, if you had clicked on Options you would have seen settings as to whether or not Opera should import everything it can from the default browser.

Auto-run? Only the update checker should auto-run, not the browser itself.
