For example I'm unable to use the Google Play website in Opera because when I do I can either accept to go to an external app or cancel going to the website entirely. I've just stumbled upon Opera however this is a bit deal breaker.

Could Opera please do things more like Firefox does where when you go to these site instead of automatically assuming you want to use the app it takes you to the site however creates an option either in the toolbar or menu bar to open in-app so it's more of an intentional thing and less completely forced as it is now.

Thanks for reading my feedback, I hope it gets implemented!

@better-nose I'm just replying you to support your petition. In my case sometimes I want to open a place in an app, and I can't see any option to open that address in the corresponding app like xda forums. I think opera doesn't even know that the app is installed in my device.

Let's make some noise for the developers to enable this option.

Settings > Site Settings > External Apps doesn't do it?

@leocg Nope! It is turned on, and no site opens in a corresponding installed app. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong, but no clue. I don't even see any option to switch to when I'm in a site that has its app installed.

I'm using a xiaomi redmi note 9s. Android 10, miui 11. Something hidden maybe.
