Download icon in upper right window still stays after closing Opera ...

Love Opera - and thanks to the developers for being open to feedback. But what's going on with the download icon that appears when a download is started? It shows up, but then shows up still when the browser is opened again. It still retains the download information from the previous session. Is this a new design, or is it a bug? Thanks in advance to whoever responds here.

@omnimaxus This is how it has been working since almost ever.
The download icon only goes away when you empty the list of downloads.
