I think it would be a good feature to be able to lock WhatsApp with a PIN or a password so nobody would be able to access WhatsApp on the computer when someone else is using it except yourself.

@janoschk Why don't just logout from the computer? Or just lock the screen.

I don't think that this is something you should be requesting from Opera but instead, WhatsApp / Facebook Inc. Facebook are currently working on a new security feature for the mobile app which I can confirm requires fingerprint or PIN entry to open the application on a mobile device. It would be worth asking them if this can be extended to PC too. Maybe via the use of your phone for a TFA style authentication using the already provided security features due to come out. (I know these to be working really well as am part of the whatsapp beta program.)

Either way, I do not believe this to be a request for the Opera development team.
