Facebook are currently working on a new security feature for the mobile app which I can confirm requires fingerprint or PIN entry to open the application on a mobile device. It would be worth asking them if this can be extended to PC too. Maybe via the use of your phone for a TFA style authentication using the already provided security features due to come out. (I know these to be working really well as am part of the whatsapp beta program.)</p>
