Opera for Chromebooks Re-Visited

I have read the thread "Opera for Chromebooks" but it seems to be closed as I could not find a way to post. I like the feel of this browser on my W10 PC and would like to use it, but I have a few questions:
- Does it or does it not run on a Chromebook?
- If it does does it automatically sync the bookmarks?
I have been using the Chrome browser on this PC. Is there a way to sync the bookmarks between Opera and the Chrome browser? If there was that would give me my link between the two.
I also use an iPad with a Chrome browser and it syncs with the Chromes on this PC and the Chromebook.
