Opera changes file names on download

I download files on a monthly basis that have a specific format - each element of the file name is separated by a tilde: Person's name~Category~Title.extension
When I download these files from email, the tildes are replaced by underscores. Where can this be changed? If I download using Firefox, the file names are unchanged.

@burnout426 : Chrome does the same as Opera. Don't have Vivaldi installed right now to be able to check, but should be able to do that by end of week.

@klasfirst The whole point is not to have to do that. If Opera can't be changed I'll use a browser that doesn't know better than I (or the sender) what the file-name format should be.

It's probably a behavior change in Chromium. Could be a bug or perhaps they changed behavior for some reason.
What webmail service are you using?
Also, you might want to try in Opera Beta and Opera Developer on https://www.opera.com/download. If it's a bug, it might already be fixed in those versions.
