deletion of cookies

Hi there,
How comes that deleted cookies in Privacy and Security appear after a short while, even though the corresponding websites are NOT opened?
ex.: youtube, collinsdictionary.com, cambridge.org, merriam-webster, bab.la, google, and reverso
There may be other sites that send cookies, even when I am not connected. I really do not want to be tracked in this way ! ! !

What extensions do you have installed? I have not cleared my cookies, and I don't have half the ones you list (and it has to be strange you have so many dictionaries regardless).
