I'm in the UK but did Opera think I'm in the US

Last month I went to the US, and of course used Opera whilst there.
Now, I am back in Blighty, but does the app still think I'm in America?
The reason I think it does is that sites such as BBC and The Guardian keep redirecting me back to the US versions, and some European or UK store sites give me $$$ pricing or even refuse to let me in as they "don't deliver to your country".
I've cleared the caches multiple times but still not getting anywhere.
Advice and thoughts appreciated

@leocg All cookies and browsing data cleared. I have checked the account and it is set to the UK. I am logged in to Opera on mobile and laptop so the timezone issue is synced across the two devices.
I just visited a website and was presented prices in dollars, so the issue remains in some deeper tracking cookie. Have wondered if Google is the cause?

You might got the data saving option activated (which is like using a proxy). Or the VPN.
