Unable to change search engine from selections anymore

Usually when I type something in the address bar, I get the option of choosing my search engine, usually down on the bottom corner from the address bar, it disappeared. Now, in order for me to use different search engine I would have to either type 'd' for duckduckgo or 'b' for bing, please help or inform me why the feature had been removed? Or is there an error on my part of the settings?
