        @yanta None of the files created a twin using Opera Gx. Tested another MEGA download of 1GB and it created a twin in the same path

          @k4tto

          So is that the situation?

          • If you download my 1 GB test file with Opera GX, Opera Desktop and Chrome from my online storage provider, none of these browsers will create a twin file.
          • If you download my 1 GB test file with Opera GX, Opera Desktop and Chrome from MEGA, only Opera GX will store this twin file

            @yanta TBH only tried with Opera GX. Downloaded all your files none created a twin, then donwloaded 1GB from MEGA and it created a twin

            So I think the problem is related with MEGA and Opera GX?

              If the twin is created exclusively in this combination, but not using Opera Desktop or Chrome, this would also be my conclusion (provided that the behavior of Opera GX is not affected by an add-on in this respect).

                @k4tto Did a little research and it seems that Mega uses the File System API, so I guess everything is working as should.

                  @leocg So should I avoid the use of MEGA with OperaGX?

                    @k4tto In fact, with any browser. At least those that support the File System API.

                      @leocg Interesting Hhm... I wonder if anything can be done to autodelete those "twin" files. Like an extension or even integrated support in Opera GX

                        I'm just going to put my two cents here... My thought is that the issue with GX as it's not clearing the temporary file (the twin file) once it is transferred to your Downloads folder.
