Thanks for the reply.
Twice recently - the second today - when I open opera in the morning all my open tabs have disappeared. My computer was on but hadn't rebooted. I have sync turned on in Opera and I assumed I could reload my tabs. I could not find a way to do so. My history only had one of the 14 open tabs showing. Is there a way to recover the open tabs?

Try Opera://activity.

It has your Device's Synced tabs, maybe there is something there.

Follow the Tip info and look at your OS Events and to restore the needed file if possible.
