Annoying Amazon

If I look at an item on Amazon this is now added to my start page. I'm continually having to delete these unwanted reminders. This is a recent problem, how do I stop this happening?

@lizziedart If you disable the option "Show Continue Shopping section" in Opera, this should no longer occur.

I had the same experience and it took some searching to find the answer.
Yanta says you can disable this "option" but I cannot find it in the Opera settings.
You can click the "x" when the reminder pops up and then click on "do not show me again". But that fails to tell me why Opera is tracking my Amazon activities at all. Never saw anything mentioned.
So after using Opera for many years I am switching back to Firefox: -

Where, exactly? The start page does not specify this at all. as far as I look at it -

I thank you for reply in showing exactly where this is located.
Obviously the moderator is too close to the job and not very good at pointing out things.
I appreciate your help.
Thanks again!
